Sonar2Voice is a non-profit student lead environmental club at Christ the King Catholic Secondary School in Georgetown, Ontario. As a proud member of Jane Goodall's Roots and Shoots organization, the mission of this student club is to offer a invitation to high schools and elementary schools, colleges and universities to get involved in protecting our oceans and the marine life that inhabit them. S2V encourages youth to partner with other local & international schools in hosting their own benefit concerts/events for Marine Biodiversity. These concerts/events can be dedicated to any marine species the schools want to focus on raising awareness towards. The point is that youth start to say something -- to both speak up and stand up for the rights of marine life around the world so that one day marine mammals such as dolphins and other whales, seals, sharks and other species may be free and protected in a "new ocean" -- one that is not abused by humans but loved and cherished by them. Join this youth lead movement for Marine Biodiversity today by getting your school involved. If we can do this, anyone can...if we do this together, anything can be accomplished!
“If you have people who will exclude any of God's creatures from the shelter of compassion and pity, you will have people who will deal likewise with their fellow men.”— St. Francis of Assisi
“Animals have done us no harm and they have no power of resistance.…There is something so very dreadful…in tormenting those who have never harmed us, who cannot defend themselves, who are utterly in our power.”—Cardinal John Henry Newman
